Summer Schedule for Sunday Evenings begins June 9th
This summer, we will be taking church outside of the church walls and hold services in and around our community. Here are the 3 opportunities where you can join us in following The Great Commission...
Worship & Bible Study at the Nursing Home in Bridgeport to minister to those hurting and in need of our support & encouragement.
Games & The Gospel at Harwood Park in Bridgeport. The Hispanic community is relatively unreached in our area; this would give us an opportunity to play games, share the Gospel, teach God's Word and pray with these people.
Outdoor game time & Bible Study on the grounds of FBC for the local children in our community.
Please be in prayer for where you and your family can serve this Summer! Please also be in prayer that God would raise up leaders to help support these ministries and that He would call bi-lingual people to help us.
Graduate Celebration at the Welty's house

Pizza will be provided for dinner from 5 - 5:30. Please pick up your children promptly at 8:30 pm
Camp 220
July 15th-19th at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie TX.
There is a $50.00 deposit due on June 2nd (this deposit has been waved for Yucatan Mission trip participants).
I also need 2-3 adults who would be willing to spend the week with us, your cost is free! Please let Chad know if you are interested
Mission Trip to Shawnee, Oklahoma
July 22-26 This will be a trip to work in partnership with 2 other churches assisting Good Shepherd Chapel with VBS and helping repair their facility and promoting the church within their community. The cost of the trip will only be the cost of food. You will also need to bring your own bedding, cots or mattresses as we will be sleeping in the Activity Center. Please see David Kelly if you are interested in joining this trip.
S.M.A.C.K. -> Summer Music and Arts Camp for Kids
June 23-27
Pre-K thru 6th Grade
This year, instead of a traditional VBS, we will be presenting the Gospel message through a musical that the kids will be learning during the week. Auditions for parts will begin in late May. Watch for more details on this exciting new opportunity!
Auditions for speaking & singing parts will be Sunday, June 2nd at 4pm! We will begin previewing the music this Wednesday evening
The Men's Ministry will begin meeting in small groups at various times to allow all of our men a chance to meet for bible study, prayer, accountability and encouragement. We invite you to find a time that works for you! You are welcome at one or all! The groups will meet:
- Sundays 5 - 6pm at the church beginning February 24th.
- Tuesdays 6 - 7am at the church beginning February 26th
- Thursday 1 - 2pm at The Finish Line Cafe beginning February 28t

Music & Family Ministry
Paradise Community Youth Choir
Thursdays @4pm in the sanctuary
This choir will be open to all High School students (9th-12th grade) in the Paradise community and will meet in the FBC Sanctuary. See Steve for more details!

Summer Camp is right around the corner!
1st & 2nd Grade Mini-Camp - July 12th & 13th
$75 / $20 Deposit is due by May 30th
3rd - 6th Grade Camp - July 8th - 12th
$195 / $20 Deposit is due by May 30th
Please see Brandy or Steve to reserve your child's spot and if financial assistance is needed to help send your child to camp.
We are looking at taking a Mission Trip to Oklahoma to work with children July 22 - 26, please contact David if you are interested in being a part of this mission opportunity.
All Family Gathering meets every Sunday at 9:00 am!
Donuts & Coffee will be served in the Fellowship Hall until 9:30 when we will move to the Sanctuary for the introduction of our Family of the Week, Announcements and more! Set your alarm early and make your church family a priority!

Youth Secret Church Bible Study - Tuesdays - 4:00 pm - Youth House
The Christian Church
across the street from our church has again asked that we please, please do not park in their parking lot on Sunday mornings. They have several members that are having trouble finding parking spaces on Sunday mornings because our church is parking in their parking lot. Please be considerate for their members and park in our lots only. It is ok to park in their lot on Sunday night or Wednesday night as they do not have service but please reserve Sunday for their church members only.
